South Haven senior and baseball standout Bryce Gargus has committed to playing his college ball at Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio. Bryce, the son of Tim and Rochelle Gargus, was an all-conference honorable mention selection last year in the Wolverine Conference and promises to be one of the top players for the Rams this season.

1996-97 Boys Basketball Conference Champs To Be Honored

The 1996-97 South Haven Boys Basketball Team, the last hoops team to win the Wolverine Conference Championship outright, will be honored during halftime of the boys game on Friday, February 17, against Allegan. Lake Michigan College will be raffling off a scholarship during the boys basketball game vs. Dowagiac on Tuesday, January 10. South Haven Boys Win Holland Tournament

The South Haven Boys Basketball Team defeated Holland High School Thursday night 79-59 to win the Holland Holiday Tournament Championship. The Rams were led by DaShaan Palmer with 22 points, Joe Wilkins with 15 and Caleb Ford with 14 points. The boys had beaten Tri-Unity Christian in overtime the previous night to reach Thursday’s finals.
