The girls cross country team competed at the Centreville Invitational on Saturday with over 20 local teams competing. In the 11-12 grade race the girls placed 1st overall. Leading the Rams was Summer Corke running an early season PR of 21:13, she was followed by Katie Schooley, Hayden Rooker running at season best of 23:36, followed by Tania Villegas running a PR of 24:27, followed by Ana Gonzalez, and Marlyn Rosas. In the 9-10 grade race leading the Rams was Hayley Rose, Kalin Hartmann, Camborley Gleason, followed by Samantha VandenBerk, Katherine Hartmann, and Karla Reyes. Overall the girls all competed very well on a tough and crowded course. The next cross country meet will be home, at Warner Camp against Paw Paw with races starting at 5:00pm.
