The 2019 South Haven High School Fall Sports Season began early this morning. South Haven Football began their season at 12:01 AM on Monday with their Midnight Madness Practice. The team camped out on their practice field in tents, eating, setting goals and watching movies before officially taking the field one minute after midnight. Football begins their season when the JV team travels to Otsego on August 28, and the varsity plays its home opener on Thursday, August 29.
Any high schoolers interested in playing football may still join. Practice continues today at 5:00 pm at the high school practice fields. Contact Coach Mark Eddy at (269) 214-8956 with any questions.
In addition to football, most other high school fall sports begin today (8/12). Boys soccer and tennis, girls golf, and cross country also begin practice today. Volleyball, girls swimming and sideline cheer can begin practices on Wednesday. All fall middle school sports begin on Monday, August 26.
See this website, or the South Haven Athletics Facebook Page, for more information about practice times and locations.
All athletes wishing to play ANY school sponsored sport must have a completed physical on file to participate.
