Baseline Middle School’s cross country team traveled to Fennville this Saturday to compete in the Fenn Valley Invitational. Many South Haven runners posted excellent times, and the boys team managed to win the meet in the 3200 meter 7th and 8th grade division.
Carson Rooker took third out of eighty runners in his race with a time of 14:23, while Corbin Fitch finished sixth, David Gonzales finished eighth, Eric Gonzales finished eleventh, Andrew Loikits finished nineteenth and Ben Meyer finished in twentieth place.
For the girls, Samantha Vandenberk and Katherine Hartman finished thirty-fifth and thirty-sixth respectively.
In the sixth-grade division, Jack Burleson came in eighteenth for the boys, while Hannah Devries and Katelyn Foley finished ninth and tenth for the girls.
